Ask AI Scheduler: Keep Your HighLevel Assistant Working on Schedule
What if you could ask Ask AI the same useful question every morning without opening the chat and typing it again?
Until now, Ask AI prompts were interactive. If you wanted to ask something like “summarise yesterday’s new contacts” or “check next Monday’s appointments,” you had to be in the chat and enter the prompt yourself. There was no way to save that request and have it run automatically on a schedule.
That changes with Ask AI Scheduler.
The new Scheduler turns an Ask AI prompt into a recurring task. You can save a prompt once, choose how often it should run, and then review the completed conversation when you return to the app. Instead of repeatedly entering the same request, the task can run according to the schedule you select.
What Is Ask AI Scheduler?
Ask AI Scheduler is designed for recurring Ask AI requests.
You create a task, give it a name, enter the prompt you want Ask AI to run, and select a frequency. The available options are Manual, Hourly, Daily, Weekdays, and Weekly. Weekly tasks also let you choose the specific day and time.
This makes the feature useful for requests that you want to repeat on a consistent cadence.
For example, you can schedule a morning briefing for 7 AM. Rather than manually entering the same prompt each morning, you can create the task once and review the answer when the scheduled run is completed.
Flexible Scheduling Options
The Scheduler provides five frequency choices:
Manual: Run the task on demand.
Hourly: Run it on an hourly schedule.
Daily: Run it every day according to the selected time.
Weekdays: Schedule it for weekdays.
Weekly: Choose a specific day and time for the task.
The key idea is simple: the prompt becomes a reusable scheduled task instead of something you have to recreate each time.
Manage Tasks From Your Phone
Scheduling a prompt is only part of the experience. Ask AI Scheduler also gives you control over the tasks you create.

From your phone, you can create, edit, pause, resume, and delete scheduled tasks. If you temporarily do not want a task to run, you can pause it and resume it later without rebuilding the task from scratch.
There is also a Run Now option. This lets you trigger a task immediately, including a task that is currently paused. The resulting run is then added to the task’s history.
This gives you flexibility when you need a scheduled task to run outside its normal cadence.
See What Happened With Run History
Automated tasks are more useful when you can easily see their outcomes. Ask AI Scheduler includes Run History for each task.
Every run includes a status showing whether it was Completed, Skipped, or Failed, along with a timestamp. An unread dot also identifies runs that you have not opened yet.
When a run is completed, you can tap it to open the full Ask AI session in chat. The conversation appears as if you had entered the prompt yourself, giving you a direct way to review the result.
This keeps scheduled activity organized while still giving you access to the full conversation behind each completed run.
Scheduled Conversations Stay Organized
Scheduled Ask AI runs also receive their own section in Chat History.
Instead of mixing automated runs with manually started conversations, scheduled runs now appear under the Scheduled section, separate from Recents.
That separation can make it easier to distinguish between conversations you started yourself and conversations generated through scheduled tasks.
Practical Business Use Cases
The update provides a straightforward example: a morning briefing.
You can create a task, enter a prompt for a summary, set it to run at 7 AM, and then review the answer instead of manually entering the prompt each morning.
The same scheduling approach can be used for recurring information requests supported by Ask AI, such as checking information on a recurring basis. The benefit comes from setting the request once and letting the selected cadence determine when it runs.
You can also stay in control of those recurring tasks by pausing them, resuming them later, or using Run Now when you need an immediate result.
Mobile and Web Work Together
Ask AI Scheduler also provides cross-platform functionality.
Tasks created on desktop or web appear on mobile, while tasks created on mobile appear on web. Automation and run history are shared across platforms.
The feature is available through the HighLevel, LeadConnector, and WL App experiences, with support for both iOS and Android.
How to Get Started
To create your first scheduled Ask AI task:
Open Ask AI in the HighLevel mobile app.
Tap the recurring-clock icon in the Ask AI header.
Select + New task.
Add a task name and optional description.
Enter the prompt you want Ask AI to run.
Choose a frequency.
Set the time and, for weekly tasks, select the day.

Ask AI Scheduler lets you define a prompt, choose a frequency, set a time, and create a recurring task. Create the task.
Afterward, you can pause, resume, edit, delete, or use Run now. You can also review run history and open completed runs to see the full Ask AI conversation.
Availability
Ask AI Scheduler was released in August 2026 and is available in version 4.20.0 or higher. The feature is currently in Production.
The update also points to potential future improvements, including push and in-app notifications when runs complete, richer explanations for skipped or failed runs, custom schedules on mobile, and deeper history navigation for accounts with many high-frequency tasks.
Conclusion
Ask AI Scheduler adds a simple but useful capability to Ask AI: the ability to turn a repeated prompt into a scheduled task.
Instead of reopening the chat and entering the same request repeatedly, you can save the prompt, choose a cadence, manage the task, and review its results through Run History and Chat History. With mobile and web working together, scheduled Ask AI tasks can remain accessible wherever you use HighLevel.
For recurring information requests, the biggest change is straightforward: you can set the task once and let the schedule handle when it runs.
